1969 NFL season

The NFL 1969 season was the 50th season in American football in the NFL, who then, along with the American Football League, the highest football league in the United States. The regular season began on September 21, 1969 and ended exactly three months later, on 21 December 1969.

The Minnesota Vikings defeated in the NFL Championship Game, the Cleveland Browns and got themselves their only previous title. The Super Bowl IV was held on 11 January 1970. The American Football League team Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Minnesota Vikings with 27:7.

Play-off

The play-offs were held until January 4, 1970, of December 28, 1969. There were the winners of the four divisions at each other. The Cleveland Browns and the Minnesota Vikings defeated their opponents in the conference championship games and became effective on January 4 at each other. The game decided the Vikings for themselves and thus voted to the NFL champion of the current season.

Super Bowl IV

The Super Bowl IV, the fourth edition of the tournament, took place on January 11, 1970 held at Tulane Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana. The NFL Champions, the team of the Minnesota Vikings, went against the winner of the American Football League, the Kansas City Chiefs on. The City Chiefs defeated the Vikings with 23:7, the Super Bowl MVP Len Dawson was elected.

Pro Bowl

The Pro Bowl was played on January 18, 1970 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum between the Eastern and the Western Conference. The team from the Western Conference won with 16:13. The Pro Bowl MVPs Gale Sayers back and lineman George Andire were elected.
