1970–71 ABA season

The ABA 1970/71 season was the fourth season of the American Basketball Association. The season started on 14 October 1970. At Play operating participated 11 teams. Each team completed 84 games. The four best of each division qualified for the playoffs. On May 18, 1971, the season ended with the ABA Championship. The Utah Stars defeated in the finals of the Kentucky Colonels and were for the first time master of the ABA.

  • The Dallas Chaparrals were a regional team and called themselves now Texas Chaparrals.
