The 1970/71 season was the 37th season of the series A1, the highest Italian Hockey League. Master became the total twelfth time in club history SG Cortina.

The six teams completed in the main round of ten games. The winner became champion. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
