Season

Strømsgodset IF was first Norwegian champion. With the second cup victory after last year they reached to Fredrikstad FK (1939 and 1951) and SFK Lyn (1968 ) as the third team in the history of the Double.

The season was very balanced. Only in the last two days, the championship decided. First Strømsgodset won against the previously leading team Rosenborg BK and sat down with it in front of them. However, against a final day Hamarkameratene on goal difference before Strømsgodset. On the final day then won against Rosenborg Hamarkameratene and thus made Strømsgodset, who won his last game, the new champion. In addition, Rosenborg sat with this victory to the second place and took this part of the UEFA Cup. Interesting is the fact that Rosenborg scored only 15 goals in 18 games throughout the season and thus won ten games. It is equally curious that they received only five goals and thus lost four games.

Of the climbers only IF Pors had to descend again.
