1971–72 Serie A (ice hockey) season

The 1971/72 season was the 38th season of the series A1, the highest Italian Hockey League. Champion for the 13th time overall in the club's SG Cortina.

Mode

First, the eight teams contested a common main round. The top four teams qualified for the final round, in which the Master was played. The remaining four teams subsequently denied a placement round. The points from the main round were incorporated into the final round or placement. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
