This year, last year's winner Joseph Losey was president of the jury. There were the following additional members of the jury: Bibi Andersson, Georges Auric, Erskine Caldwell, Mark Donskoi, Miloš Forman, Giorgio Papi, Jean Rochereau, Alain Tanner and Naoki Togawa.
