1973 NHL Amateur Draft

The NHL Amateur Draft in 1973, the annual talent contraction of the National Hockey League, took place on 15 May 1973 at the Mount Royal Hotel in Montreal, Canada in the province of Quebec instead.

A total of 168 players were taken in twelve rounds, where in the last four rounds only a few teams players selected. The total first was Denis Potvin, the scouts before the succession of Bobby Orr, the best defenders in the league were confident.
