1974–75 SM-sarja season

The season 1974/75 was the 44th and last season of the Finnish SM- sarja, which was replaced for the following season by the SM- liiga. Champion for the fourth time in club history Tappara Tampere. Jokerit Lappeenranta and TuTo Hockey alighted at the second-class I- divisioona.

Mode

In the main round each of the ten teams played a total of 36 games. The winner of the main round was champion. The two last placed the main round rose from the I- divisioona. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
