1974 Copa Libertadores

The Copa Libertadores 1974 was the 15th edition of the most important South American football competition for club teams. 21 teams took part. It took each of the national champions of CONMEBOL countries and the second part, or the winner and finalist of the Cup competition in Bolivia, since there is no national championship was not held. The participants completed titleholder CA Independiente. The tournament began on 6 February and ended on 19 October 1974 with the final decider. The Argentine representative CA Independiente won the final against FC São Paulo and won, thus defending his title from last year and win the Copa Libertadores for the fifth time.
