1974 IAAF World Cross Country Championships

The 2nd World Cross Country Championships IAAF took place on the race track of Monza (Italy ) on 16 March 1974.

The men started over a distance of 12.0 km, the women over 4.0 km, and the juniors over 7.1 km.

The fourth rank by Dietmar Millonig in the junior race is the best to date placement of an Austrian athletes at World Cross Country Championships.
