1975 Men's European Volleyball Championship

The Volleyball European Championship Men 1975 was held from October 18 to 25 held in Yugoslavia. Germany was represented by the team of the GDR among the twelve participants. For the first time took place qualifiers. The games of the final round took place in Belgrade, Skopje, Subotica and Kraljevo. The Soviet Union became the third consecutive European Champion.

Mode

Yugoslavia was set as host. The top seven teams in the European championship 1971, there were also automatically qualified. These were the Soviet Union as the defending champion, the Second Czechoslovakia, the Third Romania, the GDR Fourth, the Fifth Hungary, Poland and the Sixth Seventh Bulgaria.
