1975 NHL Amateur Draft

The NHL Amateur Draft in 1975, the annual talent contraction of the National Hockey League, took place on 15 June 1975 at the office of the NHL in Montreal, Canada in the province of Quebec instead.

A total of 217 players were drawn into 16 rounds, where in the last four rounds only a few teams players selected. Mel Bridgman, who was selected first, to not become one of the great stars of the league, but he brought it to nearly 1000 games. In the second round was drawn with Dennis Maruk a player who was on his way to the big star. After that, only followed a few players who made the full breakthrough in the NHL. Willi Plett from round 5 had a good start to his career, giving him the Calder Memorial Trophy earned. As one, the drawn position 210 Dave Taylor the only one of this draft cohort who could surpass the 1000 mark in NHL games and points scorer.
