1976–77 Polska Liga Hokejowa season

The 1976/77 season was the 42nd season of the Polish Hockey League, the highest Polish Ice Hockey league. Champion for the ninth time overall in club history Podhale Nowy Targ. Legia Warsaw, Stal Sanok and KS Toruń Pomorzanin descended into the 2nd league.

Mode

In the main round each of the twelve teams completed a total of 44 games. The winner of the main round was champion. The three last placed the main round rose from the 2nd league. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
