1976–77 Southern Hockey League season

The 1976/77 season was the fourth and final regular season of the Southern Hockey League. During the regular season, the seven teams should each 72 games contest, but the league was disbanded for financial reasons in the course of the season and played a master.

Team changes

The following changes were made before the start of the season:

  • The Roanoke Valley Rebels stopped the game operation.
  • The Baltimore Clippers were added as an expansion team in the league.
  • The Richmond Wildcats were added as an expansion team in the league.
