1976 Gulf Cup of Nations

The fourth edition of the Gulf Cup was held from 26 March to 15 April 1976 in the Qatari capital Doha instead. All matches were played at the Khalifa Stadium Olympic. The winner was the defending Kuwait.

The seven teams were all against each other, the team with the most points won the tournament, should after six games between the two teams reign of equality, had a playoff to determine the winner ( direct comparison and goal difference did not apply ).
