1977–78 KNVB Cup

The KNVB Cup 1977/78 was the 60th edition of the Dutch football cup competition. He began in October 1977 with the first round, only amateur teams and clubs in the First Division took part in the. From the second round of the professional teams in the Eredivisie were added.

First round

The first round was held with nine clubs from the amateur and 19 representatives of the Eerste Divisie on 8 and 9 October 1977.

2nd round

The second round was held on 19 and 20 November 1977. In this round, the professional teams in the Eredivisie went into the competition.

Round 3

The matches of the third round took place between 21 and 26 December 1977.

Quarterfinals

The former first team had home advantage. The games were held on 1 February and 15 March 1978.

Semifinal

The former first team had home advantage. The games were held on 30 March and 19 April 1978.
