1977 ABC Championship

The basketball Asia Championship 1977 ( officially: FIBA Asia Championship for Men 1977) was the 9th edition of this tournament and took place from 28 November to 10 December 1977 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia instead. It was organized by FIBA ​​Asia, the Asian Basketball Federation. The tournament was attended by 14 teams. The top two teams qualified for the World Basketball Championship in 1978.
