1977 Copa Libertadores

The Copa Libertadores 1977 was the 18th edition of the most important South American football competition for club teams. 21 teams took part. It took the national champions of CONMEBOL countries and the second part respectively. The field was completed by defending champion Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte. The tournament began on March 9 and ended on 14 September 1977 with the final decider. The Argentine representative CA Boca Juniors won the final against Cruzeiro and won for the first time the Copa Libertadores.
