1978 Men's Hockey World Cup
The fourth field hockey World Championship for Men was held on 18 March 1978 to 2 April 1978 in Buenos Aires on natural grass. It took fourteen teams participated in the tournament that were initially divided into two groups. For a victory, there were two points. Pakistan was a 3-2 final win against the Netherlands for the second time after 1971 world champion.
