1980 British Formula One season

The Aurora AFX Formula 1 series in 1980, also known as British Formula 1 Championship 1980, was a single-seater racing series, which was extended by the regulations of the racing formula 1.

Championship

The third season of the Aurora AFX F1 series consisted of twelve races, all of which took place with one exception in the UK. This exception was the lottery Monza Grand Prix in Monza. The championship was won by Spaniard Emilio de Villota.
