1980 NBA draft
This list shows the results of the NBA Drafts 1980 are presented. This is an event of the NBA basketball league in which the teams in the league can acquire the rights to available young players. Mostly the gedrafteten players coming right out of college, but also from leagues outside of North America and formerly of high school.
The best known emerged from the NBA Draft 1980 players are probably Kevin McHale, who was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, and Joe Barry Carroll, Darrell Griffith, Andrew Toney, Kiki Vandeweghe, Mike and Mike O'Koren Gminski. These players were able to celebrate their successes in their careers and were the best of the draft vintage.
