1981–82 IHL season
The 1981/82 season was the 37th regular season of the International Hockey League. During the regular season, seven teams denied each of 82 games. In the play-offs, the Toledo Goal Diggers prevailed and won the third Turner Cup in their history.

Turner Cup Playoffs
The six play-off Qualifkanten played in the first round of three participants for the semi-finals. The three teams then determined in a group stage with home and away matches, the two finalists.
