1981 World Rally Championship season
The World Rally Championship in 1981 was the ninth of the Fédération Internationale de l' Automobile ( FIA) World Rally Championship organized. She was discharged in the period from 24 January to 25 November in twelve championship rounds. Talbot won the constructors' title for themselves. For the third time an official driver world champion was determined. The Finn Ari Vatanen won this with a Ford Escort RS 1800's.
