1982 Copa Libertadores

The Copa Libertadores 1982 was the 23rd edition of the most important South American football competition for club teams. 21 teams took part. It took the national champions of CONMEBOL countries and the second part respectively. The field was completed by defending champion Flamengo in Rio de Janeiro. The tournament began on 7 March and ended on 30 November 1982 with the final second leg. The Uruguayan representative CA Peñarol won the final against CD Cobreloa and won for the fourth time in the Copa Libertadores.
