1982 Men's Hockey World Cup
The 5th Field Hockey Men's World Championship was held in Bombay from 29 December 1981 until 12 January 1982 and was the last World Cup which was played on natural grass. It took twelve teams participated in the tournament that were initially divided into two groups. For a victory, there were two points. Pakistan was following a 3-1 final victory over Germany for the third time ( after 1971 and 1978 ) world champion.
