1982 World Series
The World Series 1982 was the 79th edition of the Finals of the Major League Baseball. There were the champions of the American League, the Milwaukee Brewers, and the champion of the National League, the St. Louis Cardinals, opposite. The best-of- seven series started on 12 October and ended on 20 October 1982. Winner after seven games were the St. Louis Cardinals 4-3, which could thus their ninth World Series win.
As MVP of the series was St. Louis ' Catcher Darrell Porter excellent.
