1983–84 Yugoslav Ice Hockey League season

The 1983/84 season was the 42nd season of the Yugoslav Hockey League, the highest Yugoslav Hockey League. Champion for the 13th time overall in club history the HK Olimpija Ljubljana.

Mode

In the main round each of the eight teams completed a total of 14 games. The top four teams in the main round qualified for the final round, the top two teams again qualified for the championship final. The remaining four main rounds teams contested a Placement Round to 5th place for a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
