1984–85 FA Cup

The FA Cup 1984/85 was the 104th edition of the world's oldest football cup tournament; The Football Association Challenge Cup, or FA Cup shortly. The cup competition ended with the final at Wembley on 18 May 1985. The winner of this discharge was Manchester United. For the first time saw in an FA Cup final, a player the red card. The Irish player Kevin Moran of Manchester United has been referred by an emergency brake to Peter Reid in the 78th minute of the field.

The FA Cup is played in rounds. Can participate, each team that has a given level of performance and has an adequate pitch. The game is played i.d.R. with only one leg. Main Round

First Main Round

The matches were played on the weekend of November 17 1984. The replays were held between the 20th and 26th of November.

Second Main Round

The matches were played on the weekend of the 8th December 1984. The replays were held until the 17th of the month of 11.

Third main round

The games were, up to the game against Gillingham FC Cardiff City on January 21, graduated from the weekend of the 5th January 1985. Necessary repetition games were scheduled for January 8 to 28. By order of the FA the game against Burton Albion Leicester City ( 1:6 ) was repeated with the exclusion of the public; after the keeper of Burton was hit by an object in the game.

Fourth Main Round

The games took place between 26 January to 4 February 1985. The replays required were held on 30 January and 4 February.

Fifth Main Round

The meetings were held from 15 February to 4 March 1985. The four replays followed from February 20 to March 9.

Sixth Main Round

The games were held to 13 March 1985 by 9. The replay took place on March 13.

Semifinal

The matches were played on 13 April 1985. The first semi-final between Manchester and Liverpool was played at Goodison Park Everton. The replay on April 17, was assigned to the Maine Road to Manchester. The match between Everton and Luton Town took place at Villa Park in Birmingham.
