1984–85 Polska Liga Hokejowa season
The 1984/85 season was the 50th season of the Polish Hockey League, the highest Polish Ice Hockey league. Champion for a fifth time in club history Zagłębie Sosnowiec. Unia Oświęcim dismounted in the second league.

Mode
First, the ten teams spent a common main round. The top six teams qualified for the final round, the participants all qualified for the playoffs, where the Master was played. The remaining four teams contested a qualifying round, the top two teams also qualified for the playoffs. The two last placed the qualifying round then met each other in a playoff for the league. The results from the main round were incorporated into the final or qualifying round. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
