1984 AFC Asian Cup qualification

The qualification for the Asian Cup 1984 in Singapore was held from August to October 1984. 28 teams should play in four qualifying groups of seven teams. However pulled before the qualifiers eight associations their message back. Then Malaysia was delegated to the Group 3 and Group 4 added to Afghanistan later. The group winners and runners-up qualified for the final tournament. Singapore hosts and defending champions Kuwait were set for the final round.
