1984 IAAF World Cross Country Championships
The 12th IAAF World Cross Country Championships IAAF was on 25 March 1984 at the Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford ( United States) instead.
The men started over a distance of 12.086 kilometers, the women over 5 km and the juniors over 8 km.

238 of 240 launched athletes crossed the finish line.
