1984 World Badminton Grand Prix
The final of the World Badminton Grand Prix 1984 was held from December 12 to 16 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, instead. It was the final competition of the Grand Prix series last season, and the second edition of the World Badminton Grand Prix ever. The prize money was U.S. $ 70,000. In the first three events of the WBGP 1983-1985 only the men's singles and women's singles were played in contrast to the later tournaments. As of 1987, the three double disciplines men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles were added.
It won Morten Frost of Denmark and Han Aiping from China.
