1985–86 Divizia A
The Divizia A 1985/86 was the 48th season in the history of Romanian football league Divizia A. It began on August 4, 1985 and ended on 18 June 1986. From mid-December to early March rested the game operation ( winter break ). Master was again Steaua Bucharest, which also won the European Champions Cup this season.

The Divizia A played with 18 teams. The three last-place teams were relegated in the Divizia B. For a victory, there were two points for a draw and one point for a loss no points.

1 Dinamo Bucharest Victoria changed its name to AS Victoria Bucharest.
