1985 Copa Libertadores
The Copa Libertadores 1985 was the 26th edition of the most important South American football competition for club teams. 21 teams took part. It took the national champions of CONMEBOL countries and the second part respectively. The participants completed titleholder CA Independiente. The tournament began on March 3 and ended on 24 October 1985 with the final decider. The Argentine representative Argentinos Juniors won the final against América de Cali and won for the first time the Copa Libertadores.
