1985 European Aquatics Championships
The 17th European Swimming Championships were held from August 4 to August 11, 1985 in Sofia and were held by the Ligue Européenne de Natation (LEN) holds.
The European Swimming Championships in 1985 included competitions in swimming, arts and diving, synchronized swimming, and the two water polo tournaments. The Wasserballtunier of women in 1985 held for the first time and took place in Oslo ( Norway).
