Notional medal

The peculiarity of the European Cup was that women and men were classified separately. The following medal is therefore purely fictitious.

B-final

The B - final of the men and women took place in Népstadion of Budapest on 10 and 11 August 1985.

Spain won in the men just before Bulgaria and thus secured promotion to the A group. In addition to the Norwegians also rose from Greece in the C group. They had to bend the tied Yugoslavs, who kept the class on the basis of individual victories (two) scored more. In the women's France secured one point ahead of Romania promotion to the A group. Relegated Denmark and Yugoslavia.

Women

C- final

Due to the large number of participants, the C- final of the men and women was played in two groups. Group 1 identified the climber at the Rudolf Tonn Stadium in Schwechat and group 2 in Laugardalsvöllur of Reykjavík.

The rise in the group B Austria and Sweden secured for men, as well as Switzerland and Norway for women.
