The 99th Wimbledon Championships took place from 24 June to 7 July 1985 in London, United Kingdom. Was hosted by the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

The big winners of the tournament were Boris Becker and Martina Navratilova.

Becker won the men's singles and was 17 years old the youngest Wimbledon men's singles champion of all time.

Navratilova won for the fourth time in a row the women's singles and won the title in mixed doubles at the side of Paul McNamee. In doubles, she failed on the side of Pam Shriver only in the finale to Kathy Jordan & Elizabeth Smylie.
