1986–87 NHL season
The NHL 1986/87 season was the 70th season in the National Hockey League. 21 teams each played 80 games. The Stanley Cup won by the Edmonton Oilers after a 4-3 victory in the final series against the Philadelphia Flyers. It was the third championship of the Oilers within four years.
