1986 Asian Games

The X. Asian Games were held from September 20 to October 5, 1986 in Seoul (South Korea).

The Asian Games were seen as a dress rehearsal for the 1988 Summer Olympics. It was attended by 3345 athletes from 27 countries participate. New sports were judo and taekwondo, as well as cycling and shooting with the women. North Korea boycotted the Games.
