1987–88 FDGB-Pokal

1987/88 The 37th edition of the fdgb Cup men was discharged. Eligible to the 15 District Cup winners ( below marked with *) were, as well as the crews of the East German league and the league the previous season. All winners were selected in a game. The final took place in East Berlin Stadium of World Youth on June 4, 1988. Here the BFC Dynamo sat 2-0 against FC Carl Zeiss Jena. The decision was made after extra time. The BFC stand for the eighth time in fdgb Cup final, won this case, however, only the second time.

Game History

After the tenth championship win in a row, but four final defeats between 1979 and 1985 was the Berliner FC Dynamo finally win the Cup victory, while the double of league and cup.
