1988 IAAF World Cross Country Championships

The 16th IAAF World Cross Country Championships IAAF took place on the Ellerslie Racecourse in Auckland (New Zealand) on 26 March 1988.

The men started over a distance of 12 km, the women over 5.962 km and 8.031 km over the juniors.
