By a 3-3 draw against immediate rivals HB Tórshavn drew the above third-placed TB Tvøroyri, had the only on the second match with a 0:2 in SIF Sandavágur give points, past teams. Relegation battle

SIF Sandavágur was from the beginning in the lower half of the table. Up to and including the fourth game of the day the point ratio was indeed designed to balance but only two more wins out of the next ten games left the team to fall back to the bottom of the table, which was occupied throughout from the seventh match. However, the distance to the saving locations could be kept low, and three consecutive wins from matchday 15 led to leave the relegation zone.

The reigning champion B71 Sandur started with three points from their first two games the season well. Over the next six games, however, did not succeed in winning, which had the crash on the penultimate place result. Individual victories arrive then will still work, but the team always fluctuated between eighth and ninth.

VB Vágur could from the first six games only reach a victory and was at the end of the table. Two wins but the team catapulted up to fourth place, which should remain the highest season placement. On the twelfth match day was the last place to beech, which could be closed by three wins in a row again, however. However, VB had to tremble until the last game to avoid relegation, the projection was at a slightly better goal difference just two points.

TB Tvøroyri was found after three wins and one defeat after Matchday at the top again. This was followed by a steady descent, so succeeded in the next six games, only one victory, which was the last place result. This could be indeed leave by two consecutive victories, although again, but then the following five winless games led to the fall to the bottom of the table.

On the final day SIF Sandavágur still needed a point to avoid relegation, this was not achieved at 0:2 at home against GÍ Gøta, so that had to be looked at the results of the other games. The point same team of VB Vágur a 2-0 away win against KÍ Klaksvík, so they had nothing to do with the decline. B71 Sandur met on the final day on TB Tvøroyri. Both teams were tied at the end of the table, a victory would mean the leap to number eight, a draw would have been the descent of both teams result. Ultimately, TB prevailed by a 2-0 B71 thus slipped to last place, SIF finished second last rank.
