1990–91 Copa del Rey

The Copa del Rey 1990/91 was the 87th edition of the Spanish Football Cup Copa del Rey.

The competition launched on September 5, 1990 and ended with the final on 29 June 1991 at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu ( Madrid). Defender of the cup competition was the FC Barcelona. The title was won Atlético Madrid with a 1-0 success after extra time in the final against RCD Mallorca. Atlético Thus qualified for the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1991/92.

First Main Round

The first legs were, the return legs held on 5, 6 and 12 September on 26 September 1990.

  • CD Cala d'Or, Caudal Deportivo, CD Santurtzi, CD Mallén, CD Blanes, RSD Alcalá, Yeclano CF and CD Burriana received a bye.

Second Main Round

The first legs were played the return matches on October 31 and November 1, 1990 on the 16th, 17th, and 18th October.

Third main round

The first legs were, the return games played on November 8 on 20 and 21 November 1990.

Fourth Main Round

The first legs were between 6 and 20 December 1990 held the return games between December 19, 1990 and January 3, 1991.

Fifth Main Round

The first legs were, the return games played on January 9, January 23, 1991.

Second round

The first legs were played on February 6, the return legs on 27 February 1991.

Quarterfinals

The first legs were, the return games played on June 12 and 13 on 15 and 16 June 1991.

Semifinal
