1990–91 Eliteserien (Denmark) season

The season 1990/91 was the sixth season of the Elite series, the highest Danish Hockey League. Champion for the fourth time in club history the Herning IK. The Rungsted IK dismounted in the second division.

Mode

In the main round each of the eight teams completed a total of 28 games. The top four teams qualified for the playoffs, where the Master was played. The last placed dismounted in the second division. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
