The 110th U.S. Open 1990, an international tennis tournament and took place from 29 August to 9 September 1990 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows Park in New York, USA.

Defender of the single were Boris Becker and Steffi Graf in the men with the ladies. In the men's doubles John McEnroe and Mark Woodforde were in women's doubles Hana Mandlikova and Martina Navratilova and Mixed White and Shelby Cannon Robin the defending champions. However, the title could only be defended by Martina Navratilova in women's doubles. In the men's singles won, the then 19 -year-old Pete Sampras, John McEnroe of the above could defeat in the semifinal, against the year- earlier American Andre Agassi. For Sampras was the first Grand Slam title in his career. In addition, he is still the youngest U.S. Open champion in the men's.

In the women's Argentinean Gabriela Sabatini defeated in the final of the favored Steffi Graf. It was Sabatini's second and last success at a Grand Slam tournament.
