1991–92 FA Cup
The FA Cup 1991/92 was the 111th edition of the world's oldest football cup tournament; The Football Association Challenge Cup, or FA Cup shortly. The cup competition ended with the final at Wembley Stadium on May 9, 1992. During this season the penalty shootout after extra time was introduced in the replays. Previously, another replay was set in this case. The winner of this discharge was Liverpool.

The matches were played on 5 April 1992. The replay kicked off on April 13. The semi-final between Liverpool and Portsmouth was awarded in the Arsenal Stadium in London. In the replay, the two sides met in Birmingham at Villa Park. The match between Norwich and Sunderland was the first time after the Hillsborough disaster three years ago back in the stadium of Sheffield Wednesday.
