1991–92 Football League Cup

The League Cup 1991/92 season was the 32nd edition of the existing since 1960 English League Cup.

The competition started on 20 August 1991 with the First Round and ended on 12 April 1992 with the final at Wembley. The title went to last year's finalists Manchester United with a 1-0 victory in the finals over Nottingham Forest. After two final defeats (1983 and 1991 ), United won for the first time the League Cup.
