1991 World Series

The 1991 World Series was the 88th edition of the Finals of the Major League Baseball between the champion of the American League, the Minnesota Twins and the Atlanta Braves as a champion of the National League. Winner of the " Best of Seven " series were the Minnesota Twins a 4-3 victory.

It is noteworthy that all seven games were won by the home team. The World Series is counted in the ESPN ranking among the best of all time. Five of the seven games were completed with only a run differential, four of the games were walk-off wins, so decided only by point gains in the last at-bat. In addition, in three games was decided in extra time.

With a total of 69 runs, the series keeps the eternal record of most runs in a World Series that went seven games ( 1993 in just six games, 81 runs scored ).

As the World Series MVP Jack Morris was excellent.
