1992–93 FA Premier League

The 1992/93 season was the first season of the newly formed Premier League, which was organized by the FA, while the 94th Erstligasaison in English football. Eligible to play for the new league were the 19 clubs that as well in the early season in the First Division, which could hold up to that highest English football league, the class, the 3 newly promoted from the Second Division. Starting this season, the second highest league was now called the First Division.

Manchester United won the title, becoming the eighth time overall English champion. In the First Division the team FC Middlesbrough and Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest had to dismount. Scorer with 22 goals from Teddy Sheringham Tottenham Hotspur.

A total of 544 players were used, with Manchester United with 20 the least and Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea with 32 aufboten most players in league games. 114 newcomers were offset by 96 footballers who most recently came into play in the 1992/93 season.

The season lasted from 15 August 1992 to 8 May 1993.
