1992–93 ice hockey Bundesliga season
The season 1992 /93 Hockey - Bundesliga was the 35th season of the German top flight. German champion for the fourth time in a row, the Düsseldorf EC. This was most recently managed the EV Füssen in the 1950s. However, the Allgäu had won then from 1953 to 1959 equal to seven German championships in a row. For DEG, it was now the seventh German championship title.

The descent question was decided not on the ice, but in the dressing rooms of the DEB again. The EHC Freiburg permit withdrawn for financial reasons. Since the decision of the association was only after the Relegation and Freiburger penetrated against the previous year's losers and vice-champion of the 2nd Bundesliga ES white water that has already been fixed relegated Schwenningen ERC were allowed to remain in the first league.
